Love and compassion are better expressed in actions
While resources seem abundant in many places, whole communities elsewhere are literally dying of consequences of poverty: hunger, lack of drinking water and diseases that could have been cured or prevented. We may not be able to do much, but the little we do, can make a lot of difference for many. We may not be able to change or save the world, but our modest actions can change the lives of many. For little actions have unsuspected and unexpected impacts on the lives of people, giving them the “breath” to carry on their daily struggle in life .
Presentation
FONPOV is an organization aiming at helping the poorest people in disadvantaged communities in the world. FONPOV favors both punctual relief actions as well as efforts leading to self sustainable and self autonomous life for the poorest, such as:
1 -Building Health and education structures
2- Providing scholarships for the poorest
3- Supporting capacity building programmes for the poorest
How?
FONPOV gathers and empowers support for the poorest people in this world. Assistance can be of any kind from what you don’t use anymore in your house to your time and energy, or modest or substantial financial contribution. What seems insignificant to some can be helpful for others.
A special committee, chosen by the members of FONPOV, identifies, analyzes and submits projects for funding to the general assembly composed by all the members for approbation. Projects are rejected if contested by 20% of members in a period of 15 days after submission.
FONPOV works only on the basis of voluntary so that all support can directly be transferred to the poorest people.
